Charles Guy & Linda Powers: Sonido Alegre
Released: 2014
"Sonido Alegre." which translated to English means, "a joyful sound" represents original music with a Spanish Flavor, Flamenco Flair. Influenced by the several trips Charles Guy has taken to the Riviera Nayarit in Mexico, his original songs, composed on nylon string guitar, came to full fruition with the addition of Linda Powers' gypsy violin improvisations. The vibrant percussion accompaniment of Mike Fitch adds to the unique and fascinating sound of "Sonido Alegre."
